Due to significant growth, E3 Federal Solutions seeks a Sr. Program Manager, Defense Market with proven experience managing a portfolio or projects/programs across multiple program offices to ensure delivery excellence to clients from agencies including, but not limited to, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). In this role, the Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for growth/strategy development, client delivery, staff management, leadership.

  • Responsible for the engagement, performance management, professional development, and coordination of activities to 100+ support personnel (managers, deputy managers, and team leads).

  • Manage all contractual and logistical details including being the single point of contact for clients.

  • Work with internal support organizations to ensure teams are appropriately staffed to meet contract requirements.

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate project/program tasks/action items to ensure expectations are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.

  • Develop, review, and deliver quality contract deliverables on time, which at a minimum, includes a monthly status reports, trend analyses, and variance reports.

  • Responsible for P&L on projects/programs, client delivery, organic growth, as well as supporting and developing business development initiatives to include providing subject matter expertise

  • Provide expert advice to agency senior staff in a wide variety of department level activities and/or major programs.

  • Expand and leverage professional networks and influence E3 direction based on industry trends.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a field directly related to business management and/or program management
  • Minimum of 15 years of management experience in environments similar to OSD components at the Under Secretary level

  • Prior success leading and supervising multi-disciplined teams across with at least 50 FTEs for which the individual was responsible and accountable for delivery and financial performance

  • Capable of communicating confidently and effectively to senior executives both verbally and in writing

  • Prior experience managing a team of program managers, task leads, and multiple subcontractors

  • DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain clearances at the highest level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a field directly related to business management, program management, or national security

  • Management experience in OSD or Military Service components

  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

  • Awareness of key competitors in the market segment to support growth activities

  • Experience with senior personnel in a DoD environment (e.g., political appointees, high ranking military officials; SES’s; GS-14/15s)
