Do more.® www.deltek.comAuto req ID:3862BRExternal Job Title:Senior Marketing SpecialistPosition Responsibilities:The Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and executing multi-channel inbound and outbound campaigns with the goal of generating leads, opportunities, pipeline and revenue. These programs will leverage inbound and outbound digital and direct marketing tactics including, but not limited to: 3rd party channels, email marketing, social media, content marketing, advertising, events, content syndication, account-targeted syndication and display, and direct mail. The Marketing Specialist must illustrate strong interpersonal skills in order to gain consensus across planned programs, negotiate tight deadlines and unite teams with a single campaign vision and voice.
Responsible for creating and executing overall marketing strategy for inbound and outbound campaigns utilizing online, email, direct mail, customer loyalty programs, social media and other channels to generate leads for Deltek’s government contractor vertical to support sales revenue target
Design and manage webinars, customer roundtables, face-to-face events, and other events to meet lead generation and pipeline attainment goals with specific call to actions leading to sales follow up
Identify and manage segmentation for campaigns to ensure messaging is relevant to intended audience
Work with sales management to understand goals, Sales Led Activity strategies and priorities to ensure campaigns map to business objectives and quotas
Work with Product Marketing to leverage messaging and content created from the Go To Market plans and develop marketing material content to be used in campaigns
Be aware of changing government contracting trends to continually make recommendations to improve marketing performance
Actively manage, track and analyze marketing programs against company KPIs
Work Location:US HDQ-Herndon, VA Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills
3 years minimum of professional marketing experience. Experience in software, ERP, and/or public sector industry marketing a plus.
Experience in building and executing integrated marketing programs is a must.
Candidate must be equally comfortable with multitasking a number of campaigns at any given time and ownership of projects from concept to execution to reporting on results on various programs
Skilled in direct response and inbound marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, events, online communications and direct mail
Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for sales team success
Experienced with CRM and marketing automation (salesforce.com, Eloqua), web conferencing (ON24), QlikView or other analytic tools, social media and other marketing tools
Expert-level proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
