Principal Associate, Digital Product Marketing

Capital One is seeking a passionate, whole brained marketer to join our Enterprise Digital Product Marketing team. You’ll be a key part of the team that brings these transformative products to the market.

You would be responsible for:

  • Lead thinking and analysis to help us better understand the competitive landscape

  • Analyze business results, marketplace trends and data-driven consumer insights to inform/advance positioning, product strategy, claims, branding and marketing strategy

  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies that deliver against product growth objectives

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, PR, legal, social media and other channel leads

  • Develop and manage marketing learning agenda and testing roadmaps, including optimization efforts

  • Maintain weekly and monthly metric reports to measure KPIs

  • Influence internal decision makers and key stakeholders with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication

  • Manage marketing campaigns from concept to launch which includes strategy development, business case, briefing marketing/creative/agency teams, managing the various projects required, communicating with stakeholders, and driving marketing best practices and new marketing trends into the work

What you will bring to the team:

  • A curious mindset and forward thinker, passionate about digital marketing

  • Experience launching and driving adoption for new digital products and services, owning and achieving KPIs

  • An understanding of the marketing funnel and how to optimize it at each stage

  • Solid communication skills with experience conveying ideas to end users, leadership and product teams alike

  • Confidence developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights

  • Detail-oriented, strong personal organization and project management abilities

  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile and constantly evolving environment

  • Passion for identifying unique/new digital marketing channels to accelerate product growth

  • An ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing and brand strategy efforts in large organizations, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels (eg: direct mail, digital channels, content marketing, social media, print, radio, television). SEO/SEM experience a plus

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing for a digital or tech company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or advertising

  • 7 years of experience in product marketing for a digital or tech company

  • 1 year of experience with search engine marketing
