The E-Commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for the sales growth of both the simplymedical.com website and the market place channel. This associate will be responsible for the overall look and feel and brand identity of the simplymedical.com site. In addition, they will be expected to create and execute content marketing programs and advertising campaigns. They will partner with marketing to execute e-mail marketing and social media management. The person must be proficient in Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and be able to build and manage a PPC campaign. They should have experience in optimizing the customer experience on a site to maximize conversion and build average order value. The person must have strong technical skills and be proficient using a content management system and merchandising tools. Experience managing e-commerce marketing associates is a must.
Create and Execute an integrated on-line marketing program for SimplyMedical.com
• Develop and execute an affiliate marketing program
• Develop a quarterly marketing program to maximize sales, margin and customer acquisition
• Manage the search engine optimization of simplymedical.com
• Execute the program through the Hybris contentment management system
• Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
Develop and execute motivating promotions to support seasonal priorities
Optimize the Website
• Optimize copy and landing pages for both organic search and paid search engine marketing campaigns
• Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
• Partner with marketing to keep the voice of the website consistent and ensure that we continue to build our brand identity.
Partner with marketing to create new marketing content
Identify key performance indicators for each channel
• Analyze site traffic and consumer behavior
Track revenue by category and site to continually market the appropriate products
Manage a Team
• Manage one associate who will be responsible for market place e-commerce
Manage one associate who will be responsible for content creation and design development
Test and Learn
Ensure that the team has the necessary processes to perform rapid fire test and learn programs
8 years experience in marketing
• Business Experience – 7 years’ experience in E-Commerce Marketing
• Specialized Knowledge/Skills – Knowledge of the Hybris content management system or similar content management system is a plus. Intermediate to expert level in SEM and PPC
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Thorough knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures; excellent communication skills
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
