ADT Security Services, Inc. Emerging Markets Support Manager in VA, Virginia
The Emerging Markets Support Manager will be responsible for the successful introduction, launch and support of critical new products and services under the Emerging Markets Team responsibility. The EMSM will work closely with the ADT product development, marketing, sales and operations teams. This role will also interface with local dealer organizations and retail channel personnel to ensure the success of products as they are introduced through multiple channels. The ESMS will be the key point of contact for multiple local SSOs and will act as the subject matter expert (SME) relative to any new products or services introduced by the Emerging Markets Team. The EMSM will lead continuous training and support activities for both sales, installation, service and admin personnel along with assisting in training and liaising with local dealer and retail teams
Work closely with ADT field office, dealer and retail channel personnel to introduce and support the successful launch and ongoing success of new products and services. Duties will include arranging for and delivering introductory and ongoing training for sales, installation, service and administrative personnel.
Regularly attend team meetings, share updates and gather feedback from local office, dealer and retail personnel regarding Emerging Markets team products and services.
Accompany sales and operations personnel on ride-along visits to provide coaching, recommendations and feedback in an effort to meet sales, installation and up-selling goals.
Share employee, dealer, retail and customer feedback from field team personnel with appropriate corporate and Emerging Markets team members for purposes of improving product and service features and functionality.
Serve as single point of contact for field teams, dealer and retail personnel regarding Emerging Markets products and services as questions, concerns or problems arise.
Act as information conduit between the local teams and ADT business units.
Ensure high level of engagement in new initiatives for all local office, dealer and retail personnel by hosting Q&A sessions, celebrations and sharing results for individuals and teams in the local offices.
Share best practices amongst peers and between branch offices and retail locations to ensure success of initiatives nationwide.
Participate in team meetings, call nights, trade shows and training sessions as needed.
Ensure accurate reporting and feedback for teams in terms of initiative success and rankings.
Develop Communication templates for newsletters and other tools for sharing best practices, wins and recognition of outstanding performances across the territory and company wide.
Work with underperforming offices to improve results through frequent feedback and training sessions.
College degree or equivalent experience
Proven track record in leading teams to achieve outstanding results
Minimum 5-7 years sales, operations, training or account management experience (preferably in safety, security home automation or networking)
Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to influence behavior and drive performance of teams where a direct reporting relationship may not exist
Ability to travel 50-75 travel will consist of both local and overnight.
This is a remote role. Will consider candidates in Southern NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA and NC.
