Live Nation is the largest producer of live music concerts in the world. Our Virginia Beach office is responsible for bringing many of your favorite performing artists to the area. Locally, we promote events in all of the area’s major entertainment venues, particularly Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach.
We are offering unpaid summer internships to hard-working, responsible individuals. This internship is designed to offer students hands-on learning experience in marketing/booking for the concert and entertainment industry.
Learning opportunities include, but are not limited to the following:
How to write press releases
How to research target markets for concerts
Learning about the development of creative marketing campaigns for concerts
Purpose and organization of street teams
Building and maintaining relationships with local media and record labels
Importance of maintaining marketing distribution lists
How to maximize exposure on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram pages and other websites
This internship is for college credit, it is a non-paid position with flexible hours (minimum of 20 per week) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements.
