Experian Director, Market Engagement - Mortgage Industry in Virginia

We are seeking a proven expert in the mortgage industry with significant experience in the loan manufacturing process including lead generation, origination, credit and property underwriting and loan servicing. This position will provide consultative expertise in discussions with key clients, especially at the C-level, around the business benefits of implementing Experian products and solutions.

The Director will partner with our direct and indirect sales resources to provide industry expertise and successfully promote the integration of Experian solutions into mortgage lending cycle. This position will provide the necessary insights for Experian to engage in discussions at the C-level with the business, risk, regulatory and technology functions at client organizations and articulate both the business and technical ROI that can result from the implementation of our solutions. The assignment will have a high-degree of business development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Account Teams managing large client relationships that require skillful planning to drive differentiation and integration of Experian solutions with direct and indirect clients in the mortgage industry.

• Represent industry issues, trends, shifts in the regulatory and compliance landscape which supports Experian’s mortgage industry strategy, product development and client interactions.

• Advise and partner with cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships; navigate within a matrix organization.

• Provide insights into the development and expansion of Experian’s mortgage industry strategy which promotes innovation and market leadership.

• Support the maintenance of existing revenue streams while concentrating on identifying and or assisting with the expansion of new opportunities that contribute to exceeding revenue targets.

• Support the negotiation terms on large contracts with senior executives and sourcing with clients that expand Experian’s presence with mortgage lenders.

• Create client presentations, develop ROIs, and assist clients with investment prioritization activities to integrate Experian solutions with mortgage clients.

• Coordinate with client resources, including decision-makers, influencers and technical resources to exceed customer expectations for solution delivery / integration and performance metrics.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• 15+ years experience within the mortgage industry with a broad history of selling various products and services related to the manufacture and servicing of mortgage products. Consumer credit and property data experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree strongly preferred).

• Experience with managing client relationships or partnering with mortgage industry leaders such as: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHFA, mortgage resellers and mortgage lenders

• Experience in an account management role with financial institutions, focus in mortgage lending, servicing and lead generation.

• Experience in preparing ROI metrics within a large financial institution for various products and solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills with strong analytical, technical and problem solving experience.

• Experience in Salesforce.

• High level of passion / commitment to succeed.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Frequent travel across North America should be expected. No set geographic location but close to Experian office facility is preferred.
